Scott grew up in a middle-class American home built on simple, powerful values—work hard, stay honest, respect people, and take responsibility for your actions.
Sports, family time, and strong community shaped his early years. Football, baseball, track, summers at the beach—these weren’t just activities. They were the environment where discipline, teamwork, and character were formed.
But life didn’t stay simple for long.
When Life Accelerated
Adulthood came early. By 18, Scott had become a father. By 20, he was married and responsible for a home. A few years later, he experienced the loss of his father.
Those years compressed responsibility and adulthood into a short period of time, forcing maturity through experience rather than transition.
